WOULD YOU FORGIVE: From Child Abuse to Self-Love

Dr. Einhorn’s Journey of Forgiveness Continues

Also available as a Kindle eBook. Click here.

In an intimate and brave book published in 2006, Forgiveness and Child Abuse: Would YOU Forgive? Dr. Einhorn shared her horrific story of sadistic ritualistic child abuse and asked several people what they would do if they had her background. Fifty-three people responded, and their responses were so varied that everyone could resonate with some but not all because they were inherently contradictory.

Fast forward eighteen years, and author Dr. Einhorn has recovered more memories and wrote “A New Beginning” in this book, WOULD YOU FORGIVE? From Child Abuse to Self-Love. This book includes the original 53 responses, with the bios of each contributor updated (a few of them have died).

Ellen Lacter, a psychologist for victims of ritual abuse expanded upon her contribution with an in-depth analysis into abuser coercion of child abuse victims to harm other victims and its soul-crushing effects. In this re-release of Dr. Einhorn’s important book, the darkest capacities of wounded human souls to harm innocent children are met with the light of truth, compassion, and inspiration.

“Every time I talk with another survivor about forgiveness, I am impressed by how complicated our questions are. What is forgiveness, exactly? Does it make a difference if the transgressor is amnesiac or conscious of the deed, repentant or not, coerced or acting freely, brainwashed from birth or indoctrinated as an adult? Are you morally obligated to forgive? Is forgiveness for the abuser or for yourself? I always end up with more questions than answers. ”This book, which I first read in 2006, offers a chance to delve deeply into the complexities with over fifty fascinating people. I can’t wait to get a copy!” ~ Jean Riseman Survivor, activist, author, retired social worker

“This book deals with one of the most despicable aspects of crime that plagues modern society... for its honest search for Truth, I find this book important and valuable... because it puts into perspective the evils of a Culture of Violence that dominates every aspect of human life today.”  ~Arun Gandhi, Author of Gandhi: Legacy of Love

AUHTOR NOTE: This book is an update of a book done in 2006 (Forgiveness and Child Abuse: Would YOU Forgive?) so some of the endorsers and people I express gratitude toward are no longer alive. Hopefully, the spirit of the book has been enhanced with additional years of healing and with more information and insights
