Author Inquiries

Since Bob Reed, owner of Robert D. Reed Publishers, died July 24, 2021, his wife Cleone is publishing books in a more limited fashion. She is only publishing books by authors she has previously worked with or made commitments to or authors who live in Coos or Curry Counties in Oregon.

Books are no longer being printed in the thousands and put into main distribution. The way she is now publishing books is as follows:

• Upon acceptance, Cleone edits and formats the book as both an eBook for the Amazon Kindle platform and as a print-on-demand paperback.
• Authors must commit to a minimum purchase of 50 books at 50% off retail (plus shipping and handling) and may continue to buy books for their own use (workshops, etc.) at the same discount.
•  If you want to submit your book for consideration, please email your manuscript as a WORD DOCUMENT, all chapters in one document, to cleone@rdrpublishers.com. Please do NOT send an inquiry by snail mail or a printed-out manuscript. Cleone works solely through the internet.
